Allen & Smithee is a French filmmaker. Just one guy, technically, but with enough personalities (and Belgian weirdness) to keep things unexpected.

He shoots music videos and commercials, docs and fictions, because he doesn’t really care about formats. What matters is the story. The strangeness. The crack. The thing that stays under your skin.

His work tends to orbit around the awkward, the surreal, the uncomfortable, always with humor, sometimes with teeth. He likes colors. And people who don’t fit.

Splitting his time between Brussels and Paris, with a suitcase always ready.
